Arno’s brother in serious condition after accident
Arno Jordaan’s brother is in serious condition after being pulled from a burning vehicle.
South African singer Arno Jordaan’s brother, Dewald, was seriously injured in a collision with another vehicle in the east of Pretoria on Wednesday. Both vehicles caught fire due to the impact of the collision.
Jordan and the driver of the other car, a woman in her twenties, were removed by onlookers out of their vehicles a few seconds before the vehicle caught on fire.
ER24 spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said that the Good Samaritans probably saved the lives of the victims and they suffered no burns or smoke inhalation.
Jordan has several fractures and was taken by ambulance to the Pretoria East Hospital where he was operated on for his internal injuries.
The female driver suffered serious fractures and internal injuries and was in tremendous pain. The ambulance service had to calm her and put her on a portable breathing apparatus. She was airlifted to Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg. The cause of the accident is being investigated.Arno himself was in a serious car accident in April this year.
