Durban N3 pedestrian Crash leaves one dead
This afternoon Netcare 911 paramedics were called to a pedestrian accident on the N3 Durban bound between Paradise Valley and the pavilion off ramp. Reports from the scene indicate that a worker tried to run across the highway when he was hit by a light motor vehicle.
Netcare 911 advanced life support paramedic as well as their rescue unit with a doctor on board arrived at the scene and found the patient lying prone in the roadway with life threatening injuries. Medics worked fervently at the scene for about forty-five minutes trying to resuscitate the patient. Tragically, despite all their efforts the patient was declared dead at the scene.
