1 Killed and 3 hurt in crash on the N3 North bound
Another serious collision, second one this week occurred on the N3 North Bound before Richmond Road yesterday afternoon around 4pm.
Rescue Care Paramedics attended a similar type of accident Tuesday 19 January 2015 around the same time. Paramedics were called again to the same area for another fatal crash yesterday. Four cars had collided leaving on the national route leaving one lane open. Paramedics assessed the scene and found that unfortunately one person had suffered critical injuries and unfortunately had passed away before their arrival. Three other people from different vehicles had suffered minor to moderate injuries and were stabilized on the scene before being transported to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however the necessary authorities were on the scene and will be investigating further. Traffic was severely affected till after 8pm last night whilst authorities worked to clear the scene.
