Biker airlifted to a nearby hospital – GAUTENG
A motorcyclist in his forties has been critically injured following an accident on the N12 near Edenvale, Gauteng.
The accident happened between 16h30 and 17h00 this afternoon.
Reports from the scene indicate that the motorcyclist lost control and hit a barrier near the Craft Off-ramp on the N12.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
The critically injured man was stabilised on scene by another emergency service provider.
The man has been airlifted to a nearby hospital in the Netcare2 Helicopter for further medical care.
