Taxi and car collide, six injured in Hillcrest
Six people were injured earlier today in a collision between a car and a taxi at Inanda Road and Acutts Drive in Hillcrest.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the taxi lying on its side alongside the road.
Patients were found lying on the pavement, standing around and sitting on the side of the road.
Upon assessment by paramedics, it was found that patients, four men and two women, sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The patients, which included the taxi driver and a passenger who was pregnant, were treated and transported to the R K Khan Hospital for further medical care.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
