One killed and 3 injured in head-on collision in Roodepoort
One person has been killed and three other’s including a five-month-old baby have sustained serious to moderate injuries following a head-on collision involving two vehicles on Christiaan de Wet Road and corner Clarendon Drive in Roodepoort.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene they found that one man had already died due to the extensive injuries he sustained.
The Netcare1 helicopter was dispatched to the scene to airlift the five-month-old baby to a Johannesburg hospital for further medical care.
One man was declared dead on scene by Netcare911 paramedics.
The accident happened this afternoon at about 13h30.
