Pedestrian killed on the N4 east of Pretoria
A pedestrian sadly died after he was knocked over by a vehicle on the N4,east, Pretoria, before the Cullinan off ramp this evening.
ER24 paramedics as well as other services arrived on scene and found that the man believed to be in his 40’s had sustained multiple severe injuries.
Sadly there was nothing that could be done for him. He was declared dead.
The occupants of the vehicle, which included a man, woman and two young children, were uninjured.
It is understood that when the incident occurred, another motorist stopped to assist. A bakkie then drove into this vehicle and this vehicle then hit the vehicle that was involved in the pedestrian collision.
A woman from the bakkie sustained minor injuries. She was treated and transported to hospital.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
