Truck t-bones car injuring two, Meyerton
Two woman were injured this morning after their light motor vehicle was t-boned by a truck on the Pierneed Road near the R59 in Meyerton.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 11h00 and found the truck in the slow lane of the road while the light motor vehicle was up against the roadside barrier.
On assessment, paramedics found that both woman in the light motor vehicle had sustained minor injuries.
Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were reported on the scene.
Paramedics treated the patients and transported one to Kopanong Hospital while the second was transported to Mediclinic Vereeniging for further treatment.
The driver of the truck fortunately escaped injury.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
