Man on bicycle killed in crash with light delivery vehicle on the R64 just outside Bloemfontein
A unknown man was killed during the early hours of this morning after he was knocked of his bicycle by a light delivery vehicle on the R64 just outside Bloemfontein.
Paramedics arrived on the scene and found the man lying some distance from the road way in the veld.
He was assessed and declared dead on the scene.
Police have opened a case of culpable homicide and will be investigating the exact cause of the accident.
