Man robbed and shot in broad daylight on the N2 near the M7 off ramp in Durban
A man was robbed and shot in broad daylight earlier this morning on the N2 near the M7 off ramp in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. The man was driving when he allegedly experienced mechanical difficulty with his vehicle. He stopped on the side of the road to asses his vehicle and to wait to for friends to come and assist him.
While he was waiting for help, another vehicle apparently neared the man and allegedly robbed him of some of his possessions at gun point. After he was robbed he was apparently shot in his shoulder by the robbers.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and treated the man for his gun shot wound. He was also in serious shock. Paramedics transported the man to Albert Luthuli Hospital for further treatment. The incident is under investigation by local authorities.
