Taxi crash leaves 15 injured on Booth Road just past Westville Prison
Fifteen people have been injured six seriously so after a taxi rolled on Booth Road just past Westville Prison around 4pm today.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene and found that a taxi had rolled several times ejecting most of its passengers whilst rolling. A total of fifteen patients had sustained various injuries with six sustaining serious injuries. Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilise the injured on scene before transporting them to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the taxi to roll however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
