Motor vehicle collision on Umhlanga Rocks Drive
Marshall Security were alerted to motor vehicle collision on Umhlanga Rocks Drive at approximately 7:30 this morning.
Two light motor vehicles collided, leaving the driver of one of the vehicles seriously injured.
The assistance of Netcare 911 emergency care practitioners was called for by the Marshall Security emergency contact Centre.
Advanced life support intervention was needed to stabilize the man, before he was placed on to a specialized stretcher for suspected neck and spinal cord injuries, and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
