Man killed in Potch collision
A man believed to be in his 30’s sustained fatal injuries in a collision late last night at the Govan Mbeki and Nelson Mandela intersection in Potchefstroom.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found that two cars had collided.
Sadly a man found in one of the vehicles had succumbed to his injuries.
A woman found trapped in the same vehicle sustained moderate injuries. She was extricated from the vehicle by Fire and Rescue.
She as well as the driver, who also sustained moderate injuries, were treated and transported to Potch Provincial Hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
