Five injured in rear-end collision on the R33 in Copesville
Five people were injured this morning after a light motor vehicle rear-ended another on the R33 in Copesville, KwaZulu-Natal.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the two vehicles in the middle of the road .
On inspection, paramedics found that a total of five patients had been injured in this incident.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that all five had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
The patients were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to Northdale Hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
