On 13 October 2016, the Port Elizabeth Flying Squad and Kwazakhele task team responded to information received and found a hand grenade in a shack in the Veeplaas area.
The Explosives Unit was called out and removed the grenade. Police are still investigating.
On 14 October 2016, the East London Flying Squad and K9 Unit and Mdantsane Flying Squad arrested two suspects and seized an unlicensed firearm in Inyibiba. #CrimeMustFall
