On Sunday, 9 October 2016, members from the Port Elizabeth #K9Unit responded to information of a suspect with an unlicensed firearm at Chilax Tavern, Walmer location.
On arrival, the suspect noticed the police and started running. Members chased after the suspect and manage to arrest him.
A 9mm Browning pistol with one magazine and 15 live rounds of ammunition was seized. The suspect will appear in court today.
