Man critical after vehicle rolls near the N12 in Ewtatwa
A man, believed to be in his 30s, was critically injured this morning after his vehicle rolled off the Etwatwa Road near the N12 in Ewtatwa, east of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found a light motor vehicle lying on its roof on the side of the road. A body of a man was found lying just a few metres away.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a critical condition.
Paramedics treated the man and provided him with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the man was transported to Far East Rand Hospital for urgent treatment.
It is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll and eject the driver through the back window.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
