Stock theft suspects arrested outside Bloemfontein
Four men, aged between 26 and 57, were arrested at a farm near Mandela View suburb for #StockTheft.
The Bloemfontein Flying Squard together with the Stock Theft Unit, followed information about suspects who were in possession of suspected stolen cows. Information led them to a farm on the N8 near Mandela View. Upon arrival, officers pounced on the four suspects busy offloading cows from a truck.
None of the suspects could provide an explanation regarding ownership of the stock during questioning. All four suspects were arrested and charged with stock theft. 40 suspected stolen cows and two vehicles were confiscated.
The suspects are due to appear in court soon.
