Woman dies following collision between truck and car
A woman believed to be between the ages of 28 and 30 sadly died following a collision on the N8 between Bloemfontein and Kimberley earlier today.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, about 40km out of Bloemfontein, and found that a car and truck had collided.
The woman was trapped in the car.
She was extricated from the vehicle and upon assessment, found to have been in a critical condition.
She was treated and airlifted to hospital for further medical care.
Sadly she died in hospital due to the severity of her injuries.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
