16 Injured in taxi crash, Malvern
Sixteen people have been injured after a taxi crash on Stella Road near South Road in Malvern today at around 4pm today.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a taxi and a car had collided. Multiple patients were found and immediately more ambulances were dispatched. One person had sustained moderate injuries and required Advanced Life Support Paramedics to stabilise her whilst the rest had sustained minor injuries. Once all the injured had been stabilised they were transported by Rescue Care to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
