Play your heart out with the latest and coolest from PlayStation, at the Rand Show

Step into an exciting world of gaming with Ster-Kinekor Entertainment and PlayStation at the Rand Show.

Rand Show visitors can immerse themselves in the multiple universes of LEGO video games, including LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and LEGO Worlds, a multiplayer sandbox game where kids can let their imaginations run wild as they create worlds with virtual LEGO bricks.

And be among the first to play the latest release in the LEGO universe, LEGO City Undercover, with more than 100 vehicles to choose from. Kids can play as super-cop Chase McCain and get behind the wheel of sports cars, motorcycles, helicopters and more, as they help track down corrupt criminals or just take a leisurely ride through the city.

In the PlayStation zone, choose from Pro Evolution Soccer 2017, Ratchet & Clank, racing game DRIVECLUB, and a number of other child-friendly games.

Older kids (and young-at-heart adults) can try the very latest and coolest in PlayStation technology: PlayStation Virtual Reality (VR). Put on a headset and watch every move you make in the real world translate through to the gaming world. Four PlayStation VR consoles will run Robinson: The Journey, Battlezone, and Here They Lie. (PlayStation staff will enforce age controls on all VR games.)

When you’re able to drag yourself back to the real world, be sure to check out the rest of what the Science and Technology hall has to offer. Come and solve a maze full of prehistoric creatures, and explore the galaxy in the inflatable planetarium. There are also science shows and do-it-yourself science experiment workshops, and loads of other exhibits.

And outside the hall, there’s a whole lineup of top-class entertainment too. As South Africa’s biggest consumer expo, the Rand Show is the only show to offer attractions covering everything from sport, motoring and military, to design, animals, gardening, health and beauty … there’s an entire day out for the whole family packed into each Rand Show ticket.
