Streets affected by March in Tshwane on Wednesday 17 May 2017
Take note of an approved march tomorrow on Wednesday 17May 2017 in the CBD by Hire a Graduate Organisation (graduated students who wants recognition from the Government)
They will gather from 10h00 at Burgers Park, corner of Lilian Ngoyi Street and Jacob Marie Street and move along Lilian Ngoyi passing the following intersections:
- Visagie Street
- Nana Sita Street
- Francis Baard Street
They will be marching to the Department of Social Development at the corner of Bosman and Pretorius Street to hand over the first memorandum. At 12h00 they are expected to march to the National Department of Treasury at Church Square to hand over the second memorandum using the following routes:
Bosman Street, turn right into Church Street and into the Department of National Treasury and are expected to disperse from there at 14h00.
Metro Police officers will be deployed to monitor the march and all affected streets.
Motorists are advised to avoid the affected streets and use alternative routes.
