Pretoria: Mother killed during armed robbery in Lady Selborne this morning.
At approximately 02h15 on Thursday morning 07 September 2017, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting at a home in the Lady Selborne area in Pretoria.
Reports from the scene allege that armed men broke into the residence and fired several shots. The incident and preceding events will form part of a police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics attended to six people at the scene. Tragically a twenty five year old mother had been shot and succumbed to her fatal injuries. Documentation pertaining to her death was completed by Netcare 911 and handed over to authorities at the scene. The victims baby and other occupants escaped without serious injury.
There was a strong SAPS and armed response security presence at the scene.
