13 Suspects arrested after stop-and-searches and roadblocks on the R55 and M26 in Gauteng
Gauteng: Police operation in the Tshwane West Cluster yielded good results following the arrest of 13 people, aged between 18 and 35 years, today 25 October 2017
The operation was intergrated with other role players which include, Tshwane Metro Police Department, Customs and ICASA
The operation was held in Laudium and Erasmia with the objective to curb criminal activities in both communities and also to increase police visibility. Stop and searches and roadblocks were conducted on the R55 and M26 roads.
Thirteen people were arrested for various offences which include possession of dagga, traffic offences, selling liquor without licences
Counterfiet goods were confiscated after business owners failed to produce required documents during the operation.
