Two separate accidents have left seven people injured in the morning rush hour in Chatsworth.
Just after 7 am Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the N2 Northbound before M1 Higginson Highway. Two vehicles had collided before colliding with a pedestrian on the side of the freeway. A total of four people had sustained various injuries and were stabilized on the scene by Rescue Care Paramedics before being transported to various hospitals for further care.
Then shortly after 08:30 Rescue Care Paramedics were called to Road 701 in Chatsworth. On Arrival, paramedics found that two vehicles had collided. Three people
had sustained minor injuries and were stabilized on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required.
At this stage, the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
