Seven injured in Effingham taxi smash.
Seven commuters suffered injuries ranging from minor to moderate when the minibus taxi they were traveling in smashed into a concrete fence this morning.
Reports from the scene suggest the driver lost control on Effingham Road, shortly after 11:00. The minibus taxi veered off the roadway colliding with a concrete palisade fence.
Seven people sustained injury and were treated and stabilized on scene before being taken to a nearby hospital by Crisis Medical Paramedics.
The local authorities were in attendance and will be conducting the necessary investigations.
