Five people have sustained moderate injuries after a T-Bone collision on the corner of Booth Road and Bellair Road late on Tuesday evening just after 21:45.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a truck had T-Boned a meter taxi in the junction. Five people from the taxi had sustained moderate injuries and were stabilised on the scene by Rescue Cares Advanced Life Support Paramedics. One patient had to be carefully extricated from the rear of the taxi by Paramedics. Once all the injured had been stabilised they were all transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage, the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
