Two Injured After Bakkie Overturns, Verulam
Two people were injured after the bakkie they were travelling in overturned on Hazelmere Road in Verulam.
At approximately 23:35 members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene by a passerby requesting medical assistance for the injured.
Upon arrival a Nissan 1400 bakkie was found lying on its roof. Two of the 5 occupants suffered moderate injuries. The were treated on scene by paramedics before being transported to Osindisweni Hospital.
The driver fled the scene of the accident.
