Mazda Southern Africa is pleased to announce the launch of the Mazda Southern Africa Foundation Non Profit Company.
The Mazda Foundation’s aims and objectives include, but are not limited to, the provision of financial aid to funds, authorities and institutions which qualify for income tax deductibility for gifts and which provide meaningful programs that make a difference at all levels in the community. These will include institutions who are dedicated to providing assistance to young people through education and employment skills development, with particular emphasis on children from disadvantaged backgrounds; institutions who provide assistance in the development of technology; and those bodies dedicated to the maintenance and improvement of the natural environment, research, feasibility, surveys or any other work that address community needs that are aligned with the Mazda Foundation’s aims and objectives.
Initial funding contributions to the Mazda Foundation were made by Mazda Motor Corporation, Japan and Mazda SA. Further contributions will continue to be made by Mazda Southern Africa supported by the Mazda Dealer Network, its key business partners and suppliers. Registered and incorporated on the 8th of May 2015, the company is endorsed by the South African Revenue Service (SARS) Taxation Office as a tax deductible gift recipient, with donations made payable to Mazda Foundation Southern Africa. Tax deductible donations to the Foundation are also invited from individuals and organizations sharing the philosophy of the Mazda Foundation.
