10-Month-old among the injured in KwaMashu collision
A ten-month-old girl and her family have been left with injuries ranging from minor to moderate following a collision on north Durban’s notorious Kwamashu Highway earlier tonight.
Reports from the scene indicate that shortly after 19:00, a minibus taxi collided into the rear of a light motor vehicle, leaving the driver, a thirty-seven-year-old mother and her three children aged ten months, seven years and ten years old, injured.
The cause of the collision is unknown at this stage and will form subject of a police investigation.
The injured family was treated and stabilized on scene before being taken to a nearby hospital for further definitive care.
