Temporary road closures at the Tshwane House on Thursday 12 April 2018.
Tshwane Metro Police Department would like to notify motorists and nearby businesses of the temporary road closures due to State of the City address that will be held at the Tshwane House on Thursday 12 April 2018.
The Parade will assemble at 08h 30 in Burgers Park, corner of Lilian Ngoyi and Jeff Masemola Street. They will start moving at 09h00 and will march along Lilian Ngoyi Street to the Tshwane House passing the following intersections:
• Jeff Masemola
• Minaar Street
• Burgerspark Lane
• Visagie Street
• Nana Sita
• Francis Baard
• Pretorius
• Johannes Ramokhoase
• Helen Joseph
Please note that these streets will be closed as the parade moves along and reopened as they pass.
They will then turn right into Madiba Street at the Tshwane House. Expected arrival time is 10h00.
The streets below will be closed completely from 05h00 until 16h00
• Lilian Ngoyi and Madiba Street
• Sisulu and Madiba Street
Tshwane House Main entrance will also be closed.
More streets that will be closed are:
• Sisulu and Helen Joseph Street
• Thabo Sehume and Madiba Street
• Tshwane House at Johannes Ramokhoase entrance
Metro police officers and other law enforcing agencies will be deployed. Motorists are advised to avoid the CBD during that time and use alternative routes
