Single vehicle rollover leaves 5 injured on the N1 just after the Grasmere Toll
Five people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious after a single vehicle rollover on the N1 just after the Grasmere Toll Plaza this evening.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene just before 18H00, they found a woman still entrapped in the vehicle. ER24 along with the fire brigade had to extricate the woman using the jaws of life. She was found to be in a serious condition.
Four other people were found to have sustained moderate injuries.
ER24, as well as other medical services on the scene, transported the patients to hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene.
