Wanted suspect for theft out of motor vehicle arrested
North West: The Mahikeng Flying Squad, Trio task team and Crime Intelligence members, on Wednesday evening, 25 July 2018, followed up on information about a wanted suspect for theft out of motor vehicle.
The information allegedly led the members to the suspect’s place in Lonley Park Village. According to information at our disposal, the police found the suspect (33) hiding at the house and immediately conducted a house search.
It was during the search when police discovered and seized a variety of items which the suspect could not provide satisfactory explanation for.
The items include among others; 3× Plasma Television, 2× Laptops, Modems, Cell phones, 2× music systems and clothes suspected to have been stolen. The suspect was subsequently arrested for possession of suspected stolen properties and further linked with 7 other cases of house breaking and theft out of motor vehicle. The suspect is expected to appear before the Mmabatho Magistrates Court today, 27 July 2018.
