Taxi crashed into stationary bus in Verulam
Two people were hospital after the taxi they were travelling in collided into a stationary bus on Ireland Street in the Verulam CBD a short while ago (Saturday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene by the public who witnesses the accident. Upon arrival it was establised that the Toyota Hiace taxi was travelling down Ireland Street when the brakes failed. In an attempt to stop the vehicle the driver crashed into a MAN bus which was stationary at the time.
Two occupants of the taxi sustained moderate injuries and were transported to Osindisweni Hospital by ambulance.
