MEC Kuanda delivers R267 Million road infrastructure in Port Shepstone
The KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mr. Mxolisi Kaunda, will tomorrow (26 March 2019) officially open road P58 in Ezinqoleni, near Port Shepstone.
The 24.12km road was upgraded from gravel to blacktop at an estimated cost of R267 million. The road provides access to three schools and two clinics in the area.
MEC Kaunda will also assess the progress on the construction of P57 in the area, which is being upgraded from gravel to tar road at a cost of R256 million. The road also provides the shortest route to Bizana in the Eastern Cape.
