One person is critical and nine more injured following a collision between a taxi and bakkie in Richmond
KwaZulu-Natal: At 16H34 Tuesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R56 in Richmond.
Reports from the scene indicate that a mini-bus taxi and a light delivery vehicle were involved in a collision.
Paramedics assessed the scene and found that the driver of the bakkie sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilised him.
Nine other patients, all occupants of the taxi sustained minor injuries.
Once treated all the patients were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
