MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Mxolisi Kaunda attended a SANRAL workshop where small and medium business enterprises were briefed on opportunities that will be available for the upgrades of the N2/N3.
The multi billion rand upgrades on the N3 will take place between Durban and Pietermaritzburg whilst the upgrades on the N2 will take place between Durban and Richard’s Bay.
The upgrades will unlock the economic potential of the province given the fact that KZN is home to two major ports.
