The KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mxolisi Kaunda convened a meeting with traffic police heads from provincial government and municipalities.
The purpose of the meeting was to receive a consolidated law enforcement plan for the Annual Reed Dance (Umkhosi Womhlanga Ceremony), which is taking place over the coming weekend at eNyokeni Royal Palace at Kwa-Nongoma.
MEC Kaunda conducted an inspection of public transport vehicles at the RTI Mkondeni over the weekend. He will also be conducting a public transport inspection and briefing the media in Durban tomorrow.
