SuperMash Set to Wow Happy Island Waterworld This Festive Season
SuperMash – South Africa’s exciting new superhero – will be wowing Happy Island Waterworld families this December. Make sure you don’t miss it!
Seven-year-old social business entrepreneur, Prince Mashawana, took Mzansi by storm in November with the launch of his compelling new superhero, SuperMash, whose adventures help our young kids face some of life’s biggest challenges. SuperMash arrived in young Mzansi lives via a comic book, supported by merchandise including T-Shirts, caps, lunch boxes and bags.
SuperMash isn’t a traditional superhero. He’s someone kids going through the first challenges of life can look up to, get involved with, and learn from. His story lines dig into many of the most emotionally challenging issues facing young South Africans today, from having to adapt to new living environments to learning how to read and write… or simply how to grow up with self-confidence.
SuperMash has been a big hit with parents, kids and whole families thanks to his vibe, his message and his merchandise. The success of the launch has seen him being booked for special appearances at a range of functions, including partnering with Happy Island Waterworld for a series of events starting on the 14th December.
Happy Island Waterworld is the first large water park in Johannesburg. The venue features amazing slides, features and rides, and SuperMash will be visiting and hosting events at all Happy Island and Green Outdoor Gym Lifestyle venues. SuperMash fans will get to meet and spend time with their inspirational hero and will be treated to some of the most exhilarating slides and relaxing pools on the day.
The full range of SuperMash merchandise will also be available, making the occasion perfect for family Christmas shopping. Prince Mashawana and his team will offer the SuperMash community access to the full range of exciting SuperMash products, including comic books, stationery, school bags, lunch boxes and a clothing line, all featuring SuperMash as the hero.
‘It’s going to be an amazing time,’ says Prince Mashawana. ‘Everyone has loved SuperMash so far, so it’s exciting to get the chance to spend more time at Happy Island together. It’s going to be a lot of fun, and kids will get the chance to meet a real South African superhero. Everyone should join us!’
