KZN Department of Transport engaged with senior management officials to examine a plan regarding Gender-Based Violence, Taxi Violence, All Truck Drivers Foundation (ATDF) and political killings within the province
MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Bheki Ntuli engaged with SAPS and Department of Community Safety and Liaison senior management officials to examine a Provincial Turn-around Plan regarding Gender-Based Violence, Taxi Violence, All Truck Drivers Foundation (ATDF) and political killings within the province.
Appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Provincial Planning Commission, Willies Mchunu was part of the meeting to give his inputs on the turnaround plans.
With regards to Gender-Based Violence, an analysis breakdown on GBV during lockdown levels statistics were conveyed, hotspots were identified and interventions implemented to curve these issues were analysed.
