COVID-19 awareness campaign in Eastern Cape Focused on Social Distancing
The Eastern Cape SAPS members from Corporate Communication and Liaison Component continued today, 06 May 2020, with the awareness drive.
Members visited social grant pay-out points on the main Oxford Street to sensitize the recipients about social distancing on these congested areas.
Today’s campaign will continue to other areas in East London and Mdantsane to ensure compliance on the new regulations of Covid-19 lockdown, focusing mainly on social distancing because of the high influx rate due to the pay day.
