Road crash on the R603 leaves three injured
Three people were injured after a truck and a light motor vehicle collided on the R603 near the Eston off ramp this morning. A report from the scene indicates that the truck was traveling south and was turning into a side road when the other vehicle collided with it. Exact cause of the accident however will be a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that three people had sustained serious injuries. After medics treated them at the scene they transported the injured to hospitals in Pietermaritzburg for the care that they required.
