Accident on Compensation Road near Ballito leaves two injured
Two people were injured, one seriously so, after a vehicle overturned along the Compensation Road between Ballito and Tongaat this morning. A report from the scene indicates that the vehicle was rounding a bend when it overturned and rolled several times. Exact detail to the cause of the accident however will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the roadway littered with accident debris and the twisted frame of the vehicle. After triaging it was found that one person was seriously injured while another miraculously escaped with minor injuries.
Medics treated the injured at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for the care that they required.
