Watson Highway crash leaves man fighting for his life
A pedestrian crash along the Watson Highway near King Shaka international has left two people injured. Exact details is still speculative however it was reported that a man was trying to run across the road when he landed in front of a vehicle that came hurtling down the road just after 09h30.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying in the roadway with life threatening injuries while the female driver sustained serious injuries. Paramedics placed the critically wounded man on a ventilator before air lifting him to the Nkosi Albert Luthuli hospital, the seriously injured female was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for the care that she required.
