Police arrest five suspects and recover stolen truck worth millions of Rand
During the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 23 December, a gang broke into 14 storage garages at a storage facility in Midrand, Gauteng and stole all the stock.
In a joint operation between various SAPS units – Brooklyn Police Station, National Detective Service, Crime Intelligence and the Johannesburg Flying Squad, supported by Tracker SA – the five suspects were arrested at 01:30.
All the stolen stock, worth millions, was recovered.
Two trucks and two motor vehicles were also seized.
