Taxi crashes into wall, injuring 15 in Hillcrest
15 people were injured this evening after a taxi crashed into a wall at a residence on Riverview Drive in Hillcrest, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics were on scene in minutes, and on arrival, found the taxi wedged up against the residence wall.
15 occupants from the taxi were assessed and found to have sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to various hospitals in the area for further treatment.
It is understood that the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to crash into the wall.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
