23 Injured in three taxi collision, Fleurhof
23 people have been left injured this morning after three taxis collided at the Main Reef and Hebbard Road intersection in Fleurhof, west of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics were called to the scene, and on arrival, found that three taxis had been involved in the collision.
One of the taxis lay on its side while the other two sat upright in the middle of the road.
On further assessment, paramedics found that 23 people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately no serious injuries were reported on scene.
Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to various hospitals in the area for further treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
