13 Injured when car allegedly speeding crashes into vehicle in funeral procession
Earlier Saturday evening EMER-G-MED’s M04, M08, A10 and A12 responded to reports of a serious collision on the M2 east after Cleveland, in Heriotdale.
It is alleged that the quantum was part of a funeral procession when a speeding car rear-ended it, causing it to spin out and collide with a third vehicle.
Approximately 13 people sustained minor to moderate injuries and were treated on-scene before being transported to various nearby hospitals.
Local authorities were on-scene to investigate the events leading up to the collision.
