Eleven injured in N7 Summer Greens vehicle rollover
Eleven people, including several children, were injured this morning when the bakkie they were traveling in overturned on the N7 towards Malmesbury in Summer Greens, Cape Town.
Shortly after 9am paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene where they found all of the occupants outside the vehicle. It is understood that all the occupants that were sitting in the back of the vehicle were ejected when it overturned. A five-year-old sustained serious injuries and was transported to Red Cross Children’s Hospital.
The remainder of the occupants sustained minor to moderate injuries and were later transported to various hospitals in the area.
The exact cause of the incident is not yet known. Local authorities attended the scene.
