Man found stabbed on highway in Meirings Park in Worcester, Western Cape
A man, believed to be in his 40s, was found dead this afternoon on the N1 highway in Meirings Park in Worcester in the Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics responded to the scene after receiving reports of a pedestrian that had apparently been knocked over.
Upon arrival, paramedics found the man lying in the right lane of the highway in a pool of blood.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous stab wounds and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for the man and he was declared dead on the scene.
Local authorities were on the scene to conduct an investigation.
